The fisheries are depleted in the Canadian Maritimes, and we are now dealing with the reality of global warming. Across the country, public swimming areas are closed in the summer because of fecal coliform in the water. Yet here is a brand new house being constructed with a septic field right on the water's edge in the cove.  No wonder there has been so much public concern and media attention to this lot:
